If you like to have a drink every once in a while, keep your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks out of the casino. Only take whatever money you intend to spend on drinks, tipping and few dollars you expect to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You could experience a win after a inebriated night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hook a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Keep that adventure seeing that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. These activities just don’t mix.
Leaving your cash out of the casino is a tiny bit excessive, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to succeed, then do not drink alcohol and play.
