If you enjoy having a a beer every so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your billfold, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you intend to use on alcohol, tips and few dollars you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You might have a success after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon roll at a on fire craps table. Don’t forget that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink and gamble. The two simply don’t mix.
Leaving your money back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is required. If you play to win, then do not drink and bet. If you like to be wasteful with your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the gratis alcohol you can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your drunken self loses everything!
Permit me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on to the internet to gamble in your preferred casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my abode, but because I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
